1. Who we are

2. Waitlist — what we collect on this website
When you submit the waitlist form, we collect:
- Your email address — to notify you when the app is available.
We use Formspree to process form submissions. Your email is never sold, rented, or shared with any third party for marketing purposes. We'll send you one notification when the app launches. Unsubscribe anytime by replying to that email.
3. The app — on-device, always
Pocket Treasures is built so your family's data stays exclusively on your device:
- All photos, voice notes, and memories are stored in a local database on your iPhone or iPad.
- AI story generation runs entirely on-device. No photo or voice note is ever sent to a server.
- Location data (place names) is stored locally and never transmitted.
- We operate no cloud backend, no sync service, and no analytics SDK inside the app.
4. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any third-party analytics.
5. Children's privacy
Pocket Treasures is designed for parents to capture their children's memories. Because all data is stored exclusively on-device and we collect no personal information from children, the app complies with COPPA and similar children's privacy regulations. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
6. Your rights
If you are in the EEA, UK, or California, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your email from our waitlist at any time. Email hello@pockettreasures.app and we'll respond within 30 days.
7. Data retention
We'll retain your email until the app launches and you've been notified, then delete it. If the app does not launch within 24 months, all waitlist data will be deleted.
8. Security
Your email is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with Formspree, which maintains industry-standard security practices.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
